HiTable Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-11
This privacy policy applies to HiTable.
Data Collection
HiTable does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Table data on the page you are analyzing is read into memory only while the analysis overlay is active; nothing is persisted or sent anywhere.
File System Access
HiTable reads the DOM of the current tab only when you trigger an analysis — it never scans background tabs, browsing history, cookies, or other page content. All processing happens entirely in your browser.
Permissions
HiTable requests the following Chrome permissions: tabs and activeTab (to run analysis on the current page), scripting (to inject the analysis overlay), contextMenus (to open table analysis from the right-click menu), and storage (to save your settings locally). Host permissions cover http, https, and file URLs so the overlay can work on any page you open.
Network Requests
HiTable makes no network requests. All analysis runs locally in your browser and works fully offline.
Third-Party Services
HiTable contains no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising code.
