Yijian

Write a thought. Keep it on paper.

In development · Not yet released

Yijian is in development. No App Store download or release date is available yet. This page describes the version being prepared.

About

Yijian is a native iPhone app for writing, keeping, and sharing short thoughts. Assign each paragraph a role — title, body, note, quotation, or signature — and let the app arrange your words horizontally or vertically. Choose paper, ink, a font, a border, and a personal seal; revisit your collection or share device-generated PNG pages through the iOS share sheet. Finished notes, seals, and default preferences sync through your private iCloud database when available; writing drafts and recovery copies stay outside the app's sync scope. Yijian is in development and is not yet available to download. The first public version is planned to be free, without ads or in-app purchases.

FAQ

When will Yijian be released?

Yijian is still in development and has no public download or confirmed release date. The first public version is planned for the App Store as a free iPhone app, without ads or in-app purchases.

Which devices will Yijian support?

The version being prepared targets iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The app interface is in Chinese; these English website pages do not imply an English app interface.

Does my writing stay on my iPhone?

Writing and image generation run on your device. When iCloud is available, finished notes, seals, and default preferences are sent to your private Apple CloudKit database. Home-screen drafts and recovery copies are outside the app's sync scope. There is no developer-operated content server.

Is removing a note permanent deletion?

No. Removal retains a local undo copy. After successful sync, the current cloud record becomes a removal marker without its body; offline copies may remain. Uninstalling does not clear iCloud. See the privacy policy for retention and system storage-management options.
