About Yijian
iPhone · iOS 17+
Yijian is in development. No App Store download or release date is available yet. This page describes the version being prepared.
Using Yijian
How do I write and share a note?
Write on the opening screen, choose paragraph roles if needed, and tap 成笺 to save it into the collection. Then choose paper, ink, a font, a border, or a seal. Open the top menu and choose 分享与存图 to generate PNG pages and open the system share sheet. Output proceeds after saving succeeds. The current app supports up to three pages per note on iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
What if saving or iCloud sync fails?
Keep the app and its data in place. Follow any recovery prompt, check 杂记 → iCloud for the error and retry, and verify your system iCloud account, network, and available space. Local writing works without a separate Yijian login. Home-screen drafts and recovery copies stay outside the app's CloudKit sync. Sync needs the app in the foreground; it is not an instant or background-sync guarantee.
What if my notes are missing or data cannot be read?
Avoid uninstalling or clearing data before saving a copy. If offered, use 备份原始资料 to export the original archive to a trusted location. A raw backup can contain private writing and removed items. Contact support with the displayed error code and reproduction steps; do not send the full archive unless a specific need has been discussed.
How do I undo removal or save an image?
Use 撤销移出 to restore a removed note; removal is not permanent erasure. In the system share sheet, choose Save Image and allow access if iOS asks. Yijian does not read your photo library. Sharing and Photos copies are managed by the receiving app and remain separate from the collection.
Can I use the images commercially?
Only LXGW WenKai is bundled, with its SIL Open Font License. Other fonts are requested from iOS by name. Commercial use of images rendered with system fonts has not been confirmed; successful image generation does not establish that permission. Check the applicable font terms for your intended use.
Data and recovery
Please include the app version, iPhone model, iOS version, steps to reproduce, and any displayed error code. Remove private writing from screenshots. Do not send your Apple account password or a full data backup.
About Yijian
Yijian is a native iPhone app for writing, keeping, and sharing short thoughts. Assign each paragraph a role — title, body, note, quotation, or signature — and let the app arrange your words horizontally or vertically. Choose paper, ink, a font, a border, and a personal seal; revisit your collection or share device-generated PNG pages through the iOS share sheet. Finished notes, seals, and default preferences sync through your private iCloud database when available; writing drafts and recovery copies stay outside the app's sync scope. Yijian is in development and is not yet available to download. The first public version is planned to be free, without ads or in-app purchases.
